Jim will be so missed at Maitripa. When I first met Jim I was aware of his kindness and calm manner. Only as I started to know him did I begin to realize the extent of his knowledge and accomplishments. I am so happy to have had the opportunity to take his classes. His knowledge of Buddhism plus a western perspective were invaluable. I am saddened that he will not be able to continue to share these with future Maitripa students. But then I remember that his written works and how he lived his life will continue to be a legacy and inspiration for others in the future. We at Maitripa have been blessed by his presence.
