I only had the pleasure of meeting Jim once, when he was visiting LMB quite some time ago, but I was very impressed by his kindness and clarity. His absence will be keenly felt by all who had the good fortune of meeting him. I hope the sadness of his passing will be assuaged a bit by the memory of his goodness. (Jon Landaw)
