I'd only just begun getting to know you, Jim, but I can without reservation say it didn't take more than a few minutes to know you were someone I would look to as a model for what I can only hope to someday find myself close to personifying. Every apology you felt the need to express in class, I wanted to reflect back one hundred fold in gratitude for the gift of your presence.
